Carrie Wells grew up in Prince George’s County, Md. She previously interned at the Baltimore Examiner, McClatchy-Tribune Information Services and the Washington Bureau of McClatchy Newspapers, the third largest newspaper publisher in the country.
Her work has appeared in papers such as the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Detroit Free Press, New York Newsday, the Miami Herald, the Sacramento Bee and the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
